AUGUST 10, 2022: Public Monkeypox (MPX) Town Hall Series, Part 1: Prince George's County
As cases of monkeypox continue to rise globally, this very rare infectious disease has hit home, here in the United States. A number of monkeypox cases have been reported in the state of Maryland and in Prince George's County.
In response to this recent global outbreak, our County Health Department is hosting a Monkeypox Virtual Townhall discussion on Wednesday, August 10, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
This virtual townhall discussion will feature a panel of our top health experts who will provide important information about monkeypox including prevention, testing, treatment, and vaccination. Residents will also have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers from our health experts.
